Objectives
A student who has followed esta subject should be able to: - To integrate and develop theoretical and empirical advanced concepts in Operations & Supply Chain domains. - Identify and understand the new research trends of the Operations Management and Supply Chain Management fields. - Know and understand the new applied research techniques in Operations Management and Supply Chain Management fields. - Identify niches non-fully studied in the OM and SCM literature and to build theoretical frameworks by combinging different theoretical perspectives. - Critically evaluate papes in selected topics in OM & SCM

This course will focus on the critical evaluation of the content and methodological debates in the new mission operations management and supply chain which affects four lines of research: o The digital economy : Internet of Things , Big Data and Smart Cities. o The corporate social responsibility o Circular economy o Collaborative Economy

After this course you should be able to: 1. Gain a advance understanding of the concepts related to supply chain management 2. Diagnose real-world problems in the field of supply chain management and operations as well as to identify which strategies can be employed.
