Objectives
Students should be acquainted with the basic tools of this method of analysis of legal systems. Both theoretic and empirical dimensions are important. Students should be capable of using this techniques to asses public policies related to human rights.

1. The roles of State and Market in the fullfilment of fundamental rights. Eficiency and equity. Economic, cultural and social rights. 2. Economic analysis of fundamental rights. Problems of efficacy of non-interference rights. From rights to prestations 3. Due process. Economical analysis of judicial policy
