Description of contents: programme
1. Organic mental disorders 2. Mental and behavioural disorders due to the use of psychotropic substances 3. Schizophrenia, schizotypal disorders and delusional disorders 4. Mood disorders, affective disorders 5. Neurotic disorders, stress-related disorders and somatoform disorders 6. Behavioural syndromes associated with physiological disturbances and physical factors 7. Personality and behavioural disorders in adults 8. Mental Retardation and Developmental Psychological Disorders 9. Emotional and behavioural disorders that commonly occur in childhood or adolescence.
Learning activities and methodology
Classroom lectures. Face-to-face classes: reduced (workshops, seminars, case studies). Student individual work. Final exam. Seminars and lectures supported by computer and audiovisual aids. Practical learning based on cases and problems, and exercise resolution. Individual and group or cooperative work with the option of oral or written presentation. Individual and group tutorials to resolve doubts and queries about the subject.
