Having completed courses in Bachelor's degrees in the knowledge areas of the field of engineering: - Degrees and specialties related to the field of Industrial Engineering, such as Industrial Organization, Industrial Technologies, Electronics, Industrial and Automation, Mechanics, Energy, Industrial Design, Industrial Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, and similar fields. - Degrees and specialties related to the field of Civil Engineering. - Degrees and specialties related to the field of Environmental Engineering. - Degrees and specialties related to the field of Chemical Engineering. - Degrees and specialties related to the field of Building Engineering. It is not necessary to have taken any course from the Master in Circular Engineering before undertaking the company internships.
Objectives
SKILLS that the student acquires with this subject: - Apply key concepts of circular engineering to any professional activity. - Design and apply specific tools to implement the circularity model. - Demonstrate leadership in ecodesign and the development of sustainable products. - Demonstrate leadership, collaboration, and cooperation in a real work environment.
Skills and learning outcomes
Description of contents: programme
The course involves internships in companies related to sustainable projects, circular economy, or environmental awareness. The internships take place during the second semester.
Learning activities and methodology
The company interships consist of 140 hours of on-site work in the company, plus 10 hours of non-face-to-face tutorials, and the development of a report by the student. The total number of training activities is 150 hours. The students will have a tutor from the company and an academic tutor from the university: - The tutor designated by the collaborating entity must be linked to it, with professional experience and the necessary knowledge to provide effective guidance. - The academic tutor must be a university professor related to the teaching that the internship is related to.
Assessment System
The External Academic Internships (EAI) evaluation will consist of an activity report prepared by the student and a report from the company tutor. Percentage of the Activity Report: 30% (minimum) - 50% (maximum) Percentage of the Company Tutor Report: 50% (minimum) - 70% (maximum) The tutors of each student in the hosting institutions will monitor their progress, learning, compliance with the program, and any incidents that occur during the period of external internships. At the end of the external internship period, they will draft an explanatory report on the activities carried out by each student and include their assessment of their performance. The content of this report will be forwarded to the academic tutor of the internships at the University. At the same time, the student must prepare a report on the activity carried out during the period of external internships, which will refer to the subjects they have worked on, the resources they have used, and the tutoring they have received. The academic tutor will evaluate the internships based on the corresponding explanatory report and the grades proposed by the external tutors and will submit the final grade for the course to be incorporated into the student's academic record.
