Objectives
At the end of the subject matter, the student must: - Know the fundamentals of automation of industrial systems and robotics. - Identify and know the automated industrial production technologies involved in the Circular Engineering (recycling process machinery, production machinery, robotics). - Be able to select the most suitable automation systems for the integration of a production process oriented to Circular Engineering.

Description of contents: programme
Block 1: Basic concepts of robotics and automation of industrial processes. Block 2: The role of automation and robotics in the efficient use of raw materials, waste reduction and energy consumption. Block 3: Automation and robotics applications in recycling. Block 4: Study of real cases.
