Objectives
- Knowledge of the values of biodiversity, justice and environmental sustainability, and the ability to apply the principles of prevention and precaution in the context of theorical principles in the evaluation of environmental impact assessment. - Understanding of the interactions between the administrative design, planning and documentation steps in the environmental impact assessment process. - Ability to understand and apply the methods based on the identification and assessment of alternatives, weighing of factors, the identification of potential impacts and evaluation of impacts. - Comprehension of the GIS (geographical information systems) potential and acquisition of collaborative methods techniques in the EIA.
Skills and learning outcomes
Description of contents: programme
-Case study of environmental impact evaluation, valuation of environmental elements and prediction of potential impacts. -Analysis of potential impact of the case under study on air, soil, noise, biological and sociological environment. -Applications of cause-effect matrices and georeferentiation methods in the process of identification of environmental impacts. -Elaboration of documents of targeting, scope, design, planning, monitoring, auditing.
