Objectives
- To recognise how environmental protection was incorporated as one of the EU's objectives - To identify the institutional framework for the decision-making process at the European level in the domain of environmental protection. - To know and to apply to real problems the horizontal and sector-based techniques for the protection of the environment established in the Environmental law of the European Union - To interprete and to apply the environmental legal system at European level

Unit 1.- The environmental policy and law of the European Union: institutional aspects Unit 2.- Actors, processes and results of the Union´s environmental policy Unit 3.- The implementation of EU environmental law Unit 4.- The horizontal instruments of EU environmental law (I): environmental Impact assessment Unit 5.- The horizontal instruments of EU environmental law (II): Access to information, participation and access to justice.
