Learning Outcomes
K3: To know fundamental contents in their area of study starting from the basis of general secondary education and reaching a level proper of advanced textbooks, including also some aspects of the forefront of their field of study. K4: Knowledge of basic scientific and technical subjects that qualify for the learning of new methods and technologies, as well as providing a great versatility to adapt to new situations, in the field of data storage, management and processing. S1: To plan and organize team work making the right decisions based on available information and gathering data in digital environments. S3: Ability to solve technological, computer, mathematical and statistical problems that may arise in data engineering and science, applying knowledge of mathematics, probability and statistics, programming, databases, and languages, grammars and automata. S16: Ability to synthesize the conclusions obtained from the analyses carried out and present them clearly and convincingly both in writing and orally to both specialized and non-specialized audiences C1: To Know and be able to handle interpersonal skills on initiative, responsibility, conflict resolution, negotiation, etc., required in the professional environment. Description of contents: programme
The goal of this course is to allow the student to complete its formation with a period of external internship in a company. External internships reinforce the formation of the students and provide them a complementary formation with singular value for their professional career. External Academic Internships involve carrying out activities in companies, entities, or organizations that allow students to perform professional tasks in a real work environment, under conditions similar to those of the corresponding professional activity. Their purpose is to provide a practical or academic-practical complement to university education, always in line with the student's specialization and potential career paths. Those activities should be performed in companies of the list offered by the Employment and Orientation Service, which contains those companies with the university has reached an educational agreement for the sake of students. Under no condition internships in other companies will be approved.
