Apart from general competences common to other subjects of the master's degree, this subject proposes, specifically, the ability to understand and prepare reports of geopolitical and strategic nature according to the specific methods and techniques of this type of documents. The most relevant learning outcomes acquired by the student are: - Applied knowledge to analyze geopolitical and strategic issues. - Ability to select indicators and measures to assess geopolitical and strategic issues. - Ability to present information in a graphic, written and oral way. - Ability to prepare and develop a scientific report in the field of geopolitics and strategic studies.

The subject combines theoretical / interactive sessions and practical sessions. The first ones present the essential aspects of the subjects of the course, while the practical activities will focus on the resolution of practical cases, sometimes in the computer room, the exhibition and discussion in class and the elaboration of papers reports individually or in a group. The tutorials will be in person and by video. The student can also use the email to communicate with the professors.
