To understand the tendencies that configure the actual ecosystems and the challenges that must be assumed by the main intermediaries of the information in the digital context. At the end of this subject, the student must be able to: 1. Identify the tendencies and threats that characterize the global world of information. 2. Understand the actual information ecosystems and threats that must be taken by the information intermediaries in the digital context. 3. Know the processes of the information management and documentation management in the digital context. 4. Identify the new roles of the main intermediaries of the information as a service for the digital citizenship: empowerment, innovation and perseverance of the digital patrimony. 5. Know the concept of: Dark digital age? And know the initiatives oriented to preserve the documental patrimony on the Internet. 6. Know the characteristics of the digital culture and postmodern folklore.

Acquisition of theoretical and practical knowledge (4 ECTS) through theoretical classes, lectures discussions, as well as debates in physical and virtual environment, problems solving and practical cases, individually and in teams.
