Objectives
CG3 - Be able to identify processes and workflows in an organization and apply techniques and tools for the description, control, management and preservation of documentation, especially electronics, throughout its life cycle. CG4 - Know the research models and methods in the field of digital information. CG7 - Understand the main concepts related to ethics of information and apply the principles relating to data protection, transparency and e-government. CE2 - Know the theoretical models of information retrieval, manage easily the different query languages and interfaces of information retrieval systems, and be able to interact with them to resolve any information needs. CE3 - Know infrastructures, social, technical and data sources aspects, and other related to data intensive research. CE4 - Know ways to collect, process, refine and add data understanding users and organizations needs and how they need it. CE15 - Be able to advise for the definition of strategy and project management regarding tracking, indexing, content structuring, content expulsion, link building, etc.

Learning activities and methodology
Acquisition of theoretical and practical knowledge (3 ECTS) through theoretical classes, teaching materials prepared by teachers, specialized readings and debates, as well as the personal study of students. Acquisition of skills and abilities (3 ECTS) through readings, case studies and practical exercises, to reinforce the theoretical knowledge acquired by students. The tutorials schedule will be available in the allocated space to the subject in Aula Global.
