Digital Information: Legal and ethic aspects
This subject it is based on the importance of the information systems accesibility and the need of include accesibility and usability principles on all stages of the design and development of these systems and the digital documents contained there. Among the main competencies stand out: CB4: Students can communicate information, ideas, problems and solves to both, especializated and general public. CG1: To know and to apply basic principles and techniques so as to information management on digital media. CE4: To know methods of retrieval, process, debug and aggregate data, understanding the needs of users and organizations and the way they need them. CE7: To know and to manage digital edition tools for content creating. CE9: To know principles, techniques and tools of user-centered design for digital products, including multimedia contents and be able of apply techniques for usability evaluation of environments and digital products. CE12: To know principles of design and planning of an interactive complex digital publication and fully operable.

Justification of universal design and information accessibility needs Fundamental concepts about universal information design WAI initiative and web consortium guidelines Tools for accessibility web validation Methods for developing accessible web project National and international regulation and standards
Learning activities and methodology
Theoretical-practical and practical classes: Acquisition of theoretical and practical knowledge (4 ECTS) through the theoretical and practical classes, teaching materials prepared by the teacher, online tutorials, specialized readings and comments on the readings, as well as the personal study of the students. It is related to the CE4, CE7, CE9 and CE12 competitions. Individual or group work of the student Acquisition of skills and abilities (2 ECTS) through practices in which the acquired knowledge will be applied for the design, development, obtaining of results, discussion and extraction of conclusions in a research work. It is related to the CB4 and CG1 competences.
