Assessment System

SPECIAL SITUATION COVID. In undergraduate studies: all subjects will be bimodal 50% (synchronous online teaching in a master group or aggregate, face-to-face teaching in a small group). The transversal subjects will follow the specific modality approved in the Governing Council

Given the possibility that in this course the two scenarios are combined (and that they could not take final exams in person), the teacher will be able to:
- Increase the number of continuous assessment tests, taking partial exams or other types of intermediate tests to have a more accurate assessment of the students' performance.
- Increase the weight of the continuous evaluation and, consequently, decrease the value of the test or final exam in the grade of the subject.

Each teacher may require a minimum grade in the group in the final exam to carry out the global assessment, provided that it is expressly indicated in the global classroom at the beginning of the term. The global evaluation of the subject will be carried out based on the weighting of the marks obtained in the continuous evaluation activities, which is equivalent to 40% of the final grade. The final exam grade is equivalent to the remaining 60%.

The activities not carried out will be rated with a 0. The final grade obtained may be adjusted by the teacher (up to a maximum of one point) based on participation and class interventions.

Students who do not take the final exam, either in the ordinary or extraordinary call, will appear as not presented.
