GENERAL SKILLS That the students can identify the conflict and the specialties of it and its dynamics Students learn to detect within the spectrum of conflict resolution, which is the most appropriate mechanism to deal with them and how to use it Students know how to develop a mediation procedure and know their principles, purposes, characteristics and areas Students know what the limits of mediation are, and their uses, nationally and internationally Students can apply in practice the different techniques and tools used in the management and resolution of conflicts Students learn to identify the concepts and elements used in the various forms of conflict resolution That the students can correctly identify and develop the various stages of negotiation and mediation, as well as general tools and techniques applied thereto That the students can identify the theoretical elements of the negotiation, as well as techniques and tools that can be used in the treatment and management of conflicts through technological means SPECIFIC COMPETENCES Correctly identify and develop collaborative negotiation processes, and identify attitudes and behaviors of the opposing party Understand the theoretical and ideological development of the concept of restorative justice and the importance of mediation in criminal matters Nimbly handle the specifics of the material chosen as the core of their work, including issues pertaining to the problems in the field of alternative dispute resolution Capable of producing a structured and consistent on the field of alternative dispute resolution work, and simultaneously transmit clearly and precisely the draft prepared LEARNING OUTCOMES The aim of this course is to provide students with the knowledge and tools necessary to carry out with due guarantees an investigation on the subjects of this master, ie on any of the alternative methods of dispute resolution studied and analyzed during same. The researcher, for the proper acquisition of knowledge about the subject matter of his study, must be able to identify and focus the issues and it must follow a rigorous procedure, formulated in a logical manner. The research method is specifically intended to facilitate this logical path to be traveled researcher in search of its final conclusions about their study. It refers to procedures that can be followed in order to get to prove a hypothesis, meet a number of objectives or give a specific answer to a problem previously selected, starting with defining the starting point. If the investigator of specific situations and want to find information about them to be analyzed in a general theoretical framework, it will use an inductive method. If, on the contrary, part of general situations, explained in a general theoretical framework, the object of his research apply to a concrete reality, you are opting for a deductive method. Learning activities and methodology
TRAINING ACTIVITIES Online part: presentation of the theoretical material, analysis of practical cases, individual and group practices, individual student work. Classroom part: seminar with invited speakers, practices, resolution of doubts.
