Objectives
-Knowledge and understanding that provide a basis or opportunity for originality in developing and / or applying ideas, often in a research context. - The students can apply the broader (or multidisciplinary) acquired knowledge and ability to solve problems in new or unfamiliar environments within contexts related to their field of study. - Which students are able to integrate knowledge and handle complexity, and formulate judgments based on information that was incomplete or limited, includes reflections on social and ethical responsibilities linked to the application of their knowledge and judgments. - Which students can communicate their conclusions and the knowledge and rationale underpinning to specialists and non-specialists in a clear and unambiguous manner. - Students must possess the learning skills that enable them to continue studying in a way that will be largely self-directed or autonomous. - Develop a knowledge of legal advice from national and international points of view in the field of regulated sectors. -Know Identify conflicts of interest and learn techniques for resolution in regulated sectors. -know and be able to apply in practice the organizational environment, and commercial management of regulated activities. -Know and evaluate the different responsibilities related to the exercise of professional activity in regulated sectors, including the operation of legal aid. -Accept The need for constant self-learning and continuous training as tools to facilitate adaptation to the legal, technological and organizational innovations in the field of regulated activities. - Develop a high level of specific technical knowledge of both national and international regulatory framework for all matters affecting the regulated sectors Law. -Mastering and apply the relevant financial and accounting tools for advising companies involved in regulated sectors. -Identify performance requirements and determining organization for legal advice in regulated sectors. -Know and identify public and private bodies responsible for monitoring the regulated sectors. -Know Advise international companies regarding their investments in the sector of regulated activities. -Know Develop skills to improve consumer protection and users in the regulated sectors. -Develop a strategic vision to address common to regulated sectors legal problems and enabling them to make judgments about particularly complex cases covering various subjects. -Know Develop professional work in specific, interdisciplinary and international teams acquiring the ability to integrate various contributions towards a common goal. -Develop a knowledge of the actual professional activity in the different sectors from the point of view, both as regards processes as resulting products. -Understand and develop essential and instrumental skills in legal fields that allow to apply the specialized academic knowledge acquired in the degree to changing realities.
Description of contents: programme
1.-Water as an object of legal regulation. 2.- Public domain. 3.- Introduction to the problem of water allocation. 4.- Legal regulation of the water market. 5.- Supply and treatment of wastewater. 6.- Water Management. 7.- Public Sector Procurement. 8.- Special features in the water sector. 9.- Regulation of conflicts in the water sector. 10.- Water markets.
Learning activities and methodology
1.- TRAINING ACTIVITIES a) Individual work for the study of developed and provided by the teacher theoretical and practical materials. b) Theoretical and practical classes. c) Team work. 2.- TEACHING METHODOLOGY: a) Resolution of practical cases, problems posed by the teacher etc.¿ individually or in groups. b) Presentation and discussion in class or in the virtual forum of the subject, under the moderation of teacher issues related to the content of matter, as well as case studies. c) Preparation of papers and reports individually or in group d) Reading of theoretical and practical teaching materials developed and provided by the teacher in the virtual learning platform.
