Good level of Spanish Sociocultural knowledge of Spain in the 20th century. Ability to read literary works from the 20th and 21st centuries.
COMPETENCES Knowledge and understanding that provide a basis or opportunity for originality in developing and / or applying ideas , often in a research context. Developing learning skills to continue studying. Knowing the panorama of literary theory and comparatist applied to Spanish literature and culture over the past two decades Analyze the recent Spanish culture from an interdisciplinary perspective, specially through the relations between literature and cinema

ESTADO DE LA CUESTIÓN EN LOS ESTUDIOS DE LITERATURA ESPAÑOLA CONTEMPORÁNEA Tipe of Subject: Compulsory Period: First Semester Credits: 6 ECTS Knowing the panorama of contemporary Spanish literary culture as well as the various broadcast channels , and analyze it from an interdisciplinary perspective . Know and review the relevant literature on the current Spanish literature. Analyze literary texts from the theoretical perspectives more relevant at XXIst century Discuss and analyze the current literary culture from representative literary texts and other recent communicative and aesthetic materials . Relate Spanish contemporary Literature with other cultural texts from a comparatist perspective Analyze the sociocultural issues defining contemporary literary texts.

TRAINING ACTIVITIES theoretical and practical classes tutorials Team work Individual student work TEACHING METHODS Exhibitions in class with teacher support and audiovisual media, in which the main concepts of matter are developed and the literature is provided to supplement student learning . Critical reading recommended by the teacher of the subject texts: Newspaper articles, reports, manuals and academic papers either for later discussion in class , either to expand and consolidate the knowledge of the subject. Resolution of practical cases , problems , etc. posed by the teacher individually or in group Presentation and discussion in class under teacher moderation issues related to the subject content and practical case Preparation of papers and reports individually or in group.
