Objectives
Competences: - Define and delimit with precision the objectives of Linguistic studies - Handel at ease the most relevant concepts of Spanish linguistics and its terminology - Be able to apply the main theoretical and methodological models of Spanish linguistics to various practical objectives - Know the different levels of linguistic analysis - Use the main reference tools of Spanish language efficiently - Understand the processes of language variation and change and know those that have determined the actual state of Spanish language varieties. - Understand the relationship between grammar and lexicon - Identify different speech acts and linguistic procedures which are associated with them - Critically interpret and evaluate the consulted bibliography to classify it into an adequate theoretical perspective - Be able to locate, manage and use properly the information obtained from databases and other computing tools or from the Internet.
