No previous subject is required. However, the student needs a perfect domain of Spanish and its orthography to pass this subject.
In this subject, the student is pretended to know and to understand the linguistic system of Spanish language, as much as to get a perfect domain of normative Spanish. So, the student will improve their communicative ability and will have a bigger knowledge of Spanish language in its context. Related to specific competences, the student will be able to: - Know and understand the linguistic (phonological, morphological and syntactic) system of Spanish language. - Analyze and explain the main grammatical features and problems of Spanish language. - Improve the knowledge and skill of standard Spanish language. - Acquire a critical vision of Spanish language and its presence in the world.

Learning activities and methodology
IN CLASS ACTIVITIES The course will consist on Master Classes, in which the main theoretical topic of the subject will be presented. The Tutorial Classes will consist on learning activities such as text comments, exercises and group work about different theoretical aspects of the course, focusing grammatical analysis. AUTONOMOUS WORK Moreover, students will be expected to conduct the following autonomous activities: to complete the reading assignments, to participate in the preparation of individual or in group activities in Tutorial Classes, and to individually prepare the exercises prior to each tutorial session, as much as prepare the final exam. WORKLOAD: - In class work: 60 hours - Autonomous work: 90 hours. - Total: 150 hours (6 ECTS) A tutoring schedule will be set to attend particular issues.
