Skills and learning outcomes
K1-To have the necessary knowledge to develop the necessary command techniques to lead security-related teams at national and international level in the field of public security and defence. K3-To have the scientific and technical knowledge necessary to face the technological and telecommunications challenges related to security, and to know the capabilities provided by new technologies, adapting to their evolution and application in the performance of their duties. K5-To have the necessary knowledge of national and international law for the fulfilment of the missions entrusted to the Guardia Civil and its participation in international missions and agencies. K7-Know the main procedures and technologies applied to defence and the main trends in their development. K8-Have a broad knowledge of the procedures applied to public security and the missions of the Guardia Civil both in the national and international context. K10-Have the appropriate knowledge of people management, talent acquisition, and the main material and financial resource management systems and their applicability in the Guardia Civil. S8-Communicate verbally and non-verbally in Spanish and English in security-related environments at national and international level, conveying the appropriate messages depending on the situation and the different recipients. S9-Have the ability to pose security-related research problems and develop research based on academic methodologies that enable them to formulate hypotheses or solutions to the research questions and their verification. C4-Design and carry out tasks or projects using creativity and curiosity to contribute value with an entrepreneurial attitude, reasoning with arguments and being able to deliberate on their validity by subjecting one's own and external convictions to debate. C5-Knowing and applying, through the study of scenarios related to public safety, techniques of self-control of one's own emotions and resilience in different environments, as well as developing emotional intelligence skills to interact with citizens in the professional field and give answers based on the principles of professional effectiveness and efficiency.
Description of contents: programme
Development and public defence of a Final Degree Project on national and international public security matters, applying academic methodology in accordance with the TFG Guidelines approved annually by the CUGC UC3M Research Commission.
