Objectives
Students should acquire a reasonable level of knowledge regarding: a) the general outlook of the Spanish fundamental rights and public liberties, and its guarantee system b) some particular rights and liberties, in particular those related with public order

GENERAL CONCEPTS AND GUARANTEES SYSTEM 1st Lesson: Fundamental Rights in the Spanish Constitution 2nd Lesson: Guarantees system 3rd Lesson: Suspension of rights and freedoms FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS ANALYSIS 4th Lesson: Equality and non discrimination 5th Lesson: Right to life and integrity; freedom of thought, conscience and religion; right to respect of private life, in particular, inviolability of the home and secrecy of communications 6th Lesson: Right to liberty and security; freedom of movement and of residence 7th Lesson: Freedom of assembly and of association 8th Lesson: Social rights
Learning activities and methodology
The program of this course will be developed in lectures and they will be held in large group sessions. Periodical controls about the subject matter developed in the semester will also be carried out.
