Seminars are an excelent opportunity for the students to have an overview of selected topics, complementary to the subjects studied in the master. Seminars will be lectured by selected external professors and researchers, with recognized expertise in the topic of each seminar. Seminars provide the students with a deep and intensive view in a research field. Students are required to improved their discussion abilities.
Description of contents: programme
Seminars will be lectured by selected external professors and researchers, with recognized expertise in the topic of each seminar. The topics and invited lecturers will be announced to the students in advance, so that they can start gathering initial material to research and think, and guarantee a good level of active participation in the seminar.
Learning activities and methodology
The program will announce different seminars and conferences, so that students can freely attend all the activities, assist and participate in the evaluation. Each activity will have assigned a weight in terms of ECTS credits. Activities will be announced with a minimum of 6 ECTS. Students are required to participate at least in activities weighted 3 ECTS. A student mark will be computed as M= mean(M(Ai)), where M(Ai) is the student's mark in the activity Ai, and sum(Ai)= 3 ECTS. In other words, the students's marks will be selected among the best achieved marks in groups of activities weighting 3 ECTS.
