- Understanding of risk assessment methods via the application of specific safety risk prevention software used in a particular company, the technological means used, the development of applied investigation, etc.
- Ability to implement preventive safety systems in a company.
- Learn to perform safety risk assessments and to develop preventive plans and audits, if applicable.
- Increased ability to analyse and detect situations of safety risks in specific processes and sectors (depending on the sector to which the company assigned for the practicum pertains) and to promote the use of preventive measures adapted to said specific sectors.

- Ability to analyse possible emergency situations and adopt the necessary measures in terms of first aid, firefighting and employee evacuation.
- Understanding of how to correctly apply safety indications established in the Instruction Manuals of the machinery used in the corresponding company.
- How to undertake an occupational accident investigation.
