Objectives
To achieve the sufficient comprehension of the evolution and transformation of the languages in his historical process. 2. To understand the conceptual difference between orality and literacy. 3. To know the current sense of the traditional literatures. 4. To be qualified to explain the situation of the literature in the processes and the communicative manners.
Description of contents: programme
There are approached the language and his traditional creations, all this from the point of view of the contemporary situation of his danger of disappearance. The theory of Einar Haugen (1970) and his followers allows to exemplify on the transformation of the Latin and how the environment, according to Peter Mühlhäusler, they concern the languages endogenous and exógenamente for: 1) I increase: a) rates of birthrate, b) endogamia, c) territorial expansion, 2) decrease: a) war, b) hunger, c) deportation, d) genocide, e) emigration, and 3) increase or decrease (work): a) acculturation, b) modernism, c) type of work, d) cultural identity, e) policies of the language, f) way of life, etc. The pupil will have to end with a clear vision of the situation and with ideas on how facing from administrative and academic instances the problems. Opposite to the orality, it imports for us the literacy and the manners of writing. The situation of the literature in the contemporary world..
Learning activities and methodology
1. Magisterial conferences, where they will present the knowledge that the pupils must acquire. There will be delivered to the pupils basic texts of reference that allow them to understand and to penetrate into the contents of the given matter. 2. Practical classes, at which one will be employed with specific documentation that allows a more precise approximation to the students the contents of the matter. 3. Groups of discussion, on concrete problems to fix in the pupils the specific capacities that must be acquired in the course, promoting the critical analysis and the examination of the sources. 4. Exhibitions, where they present the results and worn out materials, with the aim to favor the learning and the acquisition of competitions in the domain of the presentation and public diffusion of the realized works.
