Knowledge of Sociology and Political Science.
Knowledge of the main changes produced in the development of contemporary sociological theory. Identification of the authors and trends that provide the most significant theoretical contributions to the development of contemporary sociological theory. As a result of this learning, the student will have a complete picture of the most significant changes occurred in contemporary sociological knowledge

Learning activities and methodology
Lectures for the acquisition of skills related to knowledge of the great transformations in the history of contemporary sociological theory. Practical Lectures that include a broad range of activities, individually and in groups: search for references and library work, reading, creating summaries and brief presentations, both oral and written form periodic self-evaluations, aimed at developing learning skills related to both the specific content of the subject as to improve the skills of a more transversal, including oral and written expression, teamwork skills, organize and plan rigorously carrying out its duties and maintain standards quality when carrying out their work.
