Calendar of Continuous assessment
The grading will be based on continuous evaluation on both the magistral and reduced classes and on a final exam. The continuous evaluation in the reduced and magistral classes will count up to a 40% of the final grade and will take place through problem sets, quizzes and class participation. The midterms will include analytic problems related to the practical classes performed the previous weeks. The final exam is a 60% of the final grade, but the student will need at least 3.5 points over 10 in this exam to pass the course. Students who do not pass the subject in the ordinary call will have an extraordinary call to pass: 1. If the student followed the continuous evaluation: the qualification will be the one established in the subject program for the ordinary call. However, you will have the right to be qualified only with the grade obtained in the final exam if this is more favorable. 2. If the student did not follow the continuous evaluation: the grade will be the one obtained in the final exam. However, the teacher may authorize the delivery of the continuous assessment exercises in the extraordinary call, evaluating in such a case in the same way as in the ordinary call.
