International Private Law. General Part
Objectives
The goal of this subject is that students can solve the main juridical problems which take places in private international law cases. Thus, students at the end of the semester will be able to: - know the basic institutions on international family law and international patrimonial law, in the field of Private International Law. - know the rules of jurisdiction, of applicable law and of recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments on this matters -know to solve practical cases about these items

1. International Contracts 2. Companies and legal persons 3. Married and unmarried partners 4. Marriage crisis 5. Matrimonial property regimen 6. Protection of minor and legal kidnapping 7. Maintenance obligations 8. Hereditary succession
Learning activities and methodology
The master classes will be taught in large groups and practical sessions in small groups. Lectures will allow the acquisition of skills necessary to understand the subject and to continue the practical classes. The teaching methodology of practical classes is based on case study, problems of interpretation of rules, tutorials for global use, participation in discussion forums, partial discharge of checks and regular tutorials throughout the course. Attached is the course schedule detailing the teaching methodology will be applied.
