1) Ability to analyse the construction of storytelling 2) Knowledge of narrative devices and strategies 3) Familiarisation with the main theories of film narrative and its history

Description of contents: programme
1. Principles of filmic narration 2. The narrator and the narrative levels 3. The narrative regulation of knowledge 4. The narrative treatment of time 5. The narrative treatment of space
Learning activities and methodology
All sessions are divided in one LECTURE, based on a theoretical presentation, plus one SEMINAR, in which students work on their practical exercises. Students are expected to attend all sessions and participate in the debates. Deadlines for written work must be strictly met.
