TFG To enroll, students must have the necessary appropriations approved Degree in Journalism which determines the rules of the University.
1. Utilization of intellectual and professional tools acquired through the academic career. 2. Capacity and ability to complete systematic and thorough work in Journalism, according to the diverse teaching and research fields of the degree. 3. Capacity to develop new ideas (creativity). 4. Attention to quality and thorough work. 5. Command of the language and discipline in its use in both oral and written terms. 6. Capacity to analyze and critically study a diversity of issues.
Description of contents: programme
The Final Year ( TFG ) is a compulsory subject which is offered during the second semester of the fourth year and has a workload of 12 ECTS . It consists of performing a single work, which can be a research or carry out journalistic project in which students apply the knowledge, skills and competences acquired during their studies. Exceptionally, when job characteristics warrant , authorship may correspond to a maximum of two students prior approval of the Academic Director of the titration. 2.- Final Project work may have three modes :             Academic Research Project             Entrepreneurial project applicable to the industry             Feature in depth 3.- Journalism TFG structure must conform to one of the following profiles: a. Jobs theoretical / methodological issues related to court over the state of journalism today. b . Work to analyze historical court developments related to journalism and its links with social change issues c . Product design projects or information channels d . Projects journalistic and business feasibility study e . Own technical or organizational studies journalism f . Analysis and resolution of real case studies in the field of qualification g . Literature review and description of the situation and state of the art topics related to journalism.
Learning activities and methodology
- Meetings to coordinate the Final Year Project: general information meetings and individual tutorship to work towards the development of the Final Year Project. - Student work - Tutorship, preparation meetings. - Development, realization and defense of the Final Year Project (12 ECTS).
Assessment System
1. All students will have to publicly defend their TFG before a court shall be composed of the three teachers assigned to the appropriate group . 2. Convening an ordinary courts have two appeals were made ¿¿. The first one in late June that may be presented to students who have passed all subjects in grade or left them one at the regular May session . The second appeal will be held in late September , which may be presented to students who have passed the subjects of the degree , or rendered them subject in extraordinary session in June . 3. Prior to the defense, the guardian of TFG , prepare a report on the work that will come to the other members of the court. 4 . The student , for 10 minutes , defend in court the strengths of your GFR . You may use audiovisual tools . Later members of the tribunal may make him relevant questions or comments. 5. Then the court will meet to qualify the TFG . The rating you will get the student by the usual means of rating other subjects . 6. A student may claim qualification TFG in writing to the coordinator of the corresponding TFG Grado appoint a tribunal to investigate all claims. The University uses the Turnitin Feedback Studio program within the Aula Global for the delivery of student work. This program compares the originality of the work delivered by each student with millions of electronic resources and detects those parts of the text that are copied and pasted. If the student has correctly made the appointment and the bibliographic reference of the documents he uses as a source, Turnitin will not mark it as plagiarism.
