Objectives
-To know the collective dimension of labour law proceedings. - To assess the real possibilities of future reforms. - To develop different student abilities: understanding, expressive and systematizing.

TRADE UNION LAW AND LABOUR PROCEEDINGS I. COLLECTIVE LABOUR RELATIONS -The right to form and to join trade unions. -The dual channel employee representation. -Collective bargaining. -Collective disputes. The right to strike. -Alternative dispute resolution. II. LABOUR JURISDICTION (JUDICIAL REMEDIES) AND LABOUR ADMINISTRATION -The fundamental right to effective judicial protection. - Avoiding the process. Judicial procedure. - Individual and collective proceedings. - Means of social contestation in the jurisdiction. - Labour Administration: organization and powers.
Learning activities and methodology
-Lectures (2 ECTS credits): The basic issues will be explained. It is necessary to read the materials in advance. -Some readings may be required by the teacher and debate (1 ECTS credits). -There will be different activities in class, such as cases and other practical activities (2 ECTS credits). The activities are done weekly. Class attendance is mandatory.
