ACTIVITIES, METHODOLOGY AND TUTORIALS
Aesthetics is a part of Philosophy, but combined with creativity and sensibility, with Fine Arts, Music, Literature, Photography, Films, etc. So, there are both theoretical and practical themes throughout the course. Lessons are discussions about the issues concerning the content and readings. There will be visits to museums in Madrid: the Reina Sofía, the Real Academia de San Fernando, the Prado and others, as well as visits to exhibitions, concerts and other activities. We will also be discussing videos and web artworks. Readings and debates will form the basis of a dialogue in the classical approach of expositio et disputatio in order to achieve a greater understanding of the issues.
Tutorials will be every day after class and on Tuesdays, from 12.15 to 14¿00 am.
