Introduction to Classical Studies and to Classical languages. Morphology and syntax. Vocabulary. Translation of basic texts. Knowledge of historical and cultural context using the texts from the literary tradition. Greek literature and Latin literature through their texts.
SYLLABUS:
The syllabus consists of two sections:
1st section. GRAMMAR (LECTIONES and Grammatical contents, both online and during the sessions, see the detailed contents in the schedule).
2nd section. LITERATURE (Lectures on Classical culture).
Such contents will be explained, proportionally distributed (grammar and literature, theory and practice, translation practices), in 28 class sessions.
