Objectives
The journalism student must have the necessary knowledge of policy making in Spain. Learn about political parties and their situation in the distribution of ideologies and actions. It is convenient, also, learn about our decisions relate to the immediate environment, above all the European Union. In that line, journalism politician and parliamentarian is a transverse specialty journalism Specialized. Said this, politics and their exercise takes us directly to parliamentary life in the three dimensions that affect the day-to-day evolution of citizens: the European Parliament, the general courts and the autonomous parliaments. Any topic related to the present and without it, has to pass through some three cameras. In the current parliaments, whether European, national or regional, discussed on Education, science, sport, economy, society, environment, national politics, international politics or Culture. I.e., all journalistic specialization areas are susceptible to having to include the parliamentary information. Hence it is convenient that students clearly distinguish the difference of the concepts which are handled every day in the media when it comes to keep informed to the citizens about what happens in the commissions, full and others.

Learning activities and methodology
Combination of theoretical lessons (3ECTS) and case studies (3ECTS) The theoretical teachings intends to provide the students of the knowledge of the political map and the system to get an own criterion to assess and judge the events to which you will face throughout their professional life. The practical teachings are looking for two specific objectives: training and coaching students in what they are learning and to the implementation of the readings that will need to make during the course. Objectives: 1.- acquire theoretical knowledge about the three powers of the State and the importance of l existence and independence of these to keep a solid democracy. 2.- strengthen the necessary skills for a journalist who has to develop his work in Parliament. 3.- guide the analysis of each event and the importance of the debate as a tool of learning, critical and providing solutions for the future and move him from the idea of debate sterile confrontation.
