Objectives
1. Knowledge of key theoretical and professional, social and cultural context of television programming, with special attention to television programming in the Spanish television model. 2. Knowledge of the main techniques and processes of television programming in general . Other models . 3. Ability to understand and critically analyze the processes in television, its evolution and current reality, in relation to the phenomenon of reception and social and cultural contexts in which it occurs. 4. Ability to program content on television.
Learning Outcomes
LEARNING OUTCOMES 1. To have acquired advanced knowledge and understanding of the theoretical and practical aspects of the working methodology in the field of audiovisual communication, with a depth that reaches the forefront of knowledge. 5.To be able to communicate to all types of audiences (specialized or not) in a clear and precise way, knowledge, methodologies, ideas, problems and solutions in their field of study. 6.To be able to identify their own training needs in their field of study and work or professional environment and to organize their own learning with a high level of autonomy in all types of contexts (structured or not)." 9.To plan and manage the human, budgetary and technical resources in the different phases of the production and promotion of an audiovisual work. BASIC COMPETENCES 1.Students have demonstrated possession and understanding of knowledge in an area of study that builds on the foundation of general secondary education, and is usually at a level that, while relying on advanced textbooks, also includes some aspects that involve knowledge from the cutting edge of their field of study 2.Students are able to apply their knowledge to their work or vocation in a professional manner and possess the competences usually demonstrated through the development and defence ofarguments and problem solving within their field of study. SPECIFIC COMPETENCES 2.To know and apply the processes of creation and management of audiovisual productions in their different phases, as well as the interrelations between the different subjects of audiovisual communication: authors, institutions, media, formats and audiences 3.To acquire analytical and critical capacity in relation to the image and the media audiovisual context, by means of the knowledge of theories, forms, processes and tendencies of media communication and the audiovisual communication. 5.To understand and to identify the communicative and narrative models of the audiovisual media and their relationship with society and culture, considering the fundamental rights and equality between men and women, the principles of equal opportunities, and the values of a culture of peace and social coexistence in democracy.
