Objectives
1. Approach to the field of media education as cross-linking field theories and communicative, pedagogical and social practices 2. Knowledge of the main theories 3. Analysis of the educational role of the media, different conceptions. 4. Study on the relationship between media and childhood 5. Knowledge of the intersections between media education and educational media 6. Approach to laws and regulations in this area 7. Reflection on communication in the educational system and education from the media environment

Learning activities and methodology
The subject will be developed through theoretical and practical sessions, in addition to the lecture and viewing of materials The work will be developed as: - seminar ( text discussion) - workshop (design of proposals and models). Active participation in class is fundamental in this subject and will be taken into account in it¿s evaluation .
