Objectives
1. Provide and facilitate access to an adequate collection, keeping up to date according to the changing needs of users. 2. Acquire library resources or funds needed, according to the rules governing its management. 3. Develop a management policy that allows the collection have clear criteria for selecting, acquiring, expunge, and evaluate the materials. 4. Plans in cooperation with other units of information to share information resources. 5. Define and apply methods and techniques to manage, protect, conserve, preserve and restore any kind of documentary support.

Learning activities and methodology
Acquisition of knowledge and skills (3 credits) through lectures, teaching materials, specialized readings and discussions, as well as students' personal study (competencies 1 to 5) Acquisition of skills and abilities (3 credits) through readings, case studies, practical exercises conducted individually and in groups and their presentation, and so on. to reinforce the theoretical knowledge acquired by students and apply to specific situations (competencies 1 to 5) The mentoring scheme will be established by the University and stated in Aula Global.
