Objectives
- Understand that employees, customers, shareholders, and other stakeholders may have idiosyncratic expectations regarding employer actions; - Identify and understand employer responsibilities beyond those established by law, in areas such as environmental care, human rights, and the socio-economic development of society; - Know how employer ethics can contribute to achieving business objectives and attracting talent; - Understand that, for business sustainability, the social performance of employers is as relevant as their economic performance; - Understand the importance for employers of setting business objectives that align with sustainable development.

Learning activities and methodology
The learning methodology encompasses two main areas of activity: a. Lectures supported by academic material, mainly books and articles. The purpose of these sessions is to provide a conceptual analysis of the course content. b. Practical classes based on the analysis of case studies and simulations, aimed at presenting concrete applications of socially responsible practices. In this course, students should not use artificial intelligence tools to carry out the work or exercises proposed by the faculty. In the event that the use of AI by the student gives rise to academic fraud by falsifying the results of an exam or work required to accredit academic performance, the Regulation of the University Carlos III of Madrid of partial development of the Law 3/2022, of February 24th, of University Coexistence, will be applied.
