Objectives
Overview of the principles and elements in the field of the International Trade, analysing their main instruments in practical cases.
Description of contents: programme
- Chapter 1. Uniform Commercial Law: Introduction - Chapter 2. Uniform Commercial Law: General instruments, in particular, the Rome I Regulation - Chapter 3. International Sale of Goods: the Vienna Convention - Chapter 4. International Sale of Goods: Incoterms - Chapter 5. International contracts for the carriage of goods - Chapter 6. International uniform guarantees - Chapter 7. International payments. Documentary credits
Learning activities and methodology
Theoretical and practical sessions in order to study real issues. The Socratic method of teaching will be used in theoretical sessions.
