High proficiency certificate or accredited level in English language. This course when taught in English is basically addressed to Erasmus and exchange students with a basic knowledge of Spanish politics and government and of contemporary Spanish History. - Análisis Político I (Political Analysis I) - Actores Políticos I ( Political Actors)
Objectives
It covers the origins of the current system (political competition during the Second Republic, the Francoist dictatorship, the transition process, and transitional justice); the analysis of the main institutional characteristics of the democratic system (such as the monarchy and the territorial model); and the key events that have shaped the course of Spanish politics over the past decade (crisis of representative democracy and new political parties).
Learning Outcomes
