Objectives
GENERAL OBJECTIVES - To know, identify, understand, and practically apply the essential principles in the field of digital markets and services. - To develop the ability to interpret the legal and organizational framework of digital markets and services. - To analyze, plan, evaluate, and control the risks arising from non-compliance with the regulations governing digital markets and services. - To interpret, analyze, and assess the regulations that govern the digital markets and services sector, with the capacity to provide general advice. - To develop critical analysis skills of legal texts for their correct interpretation and, where appropriate, their application in the subjects covered by the master¿s program. - To identify the institutions involved in this area, their competencies, actions, resolutions, etc. SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES - To identify and understand the technological foundations on which digital markets and services are based. - To identify and understand the economic foundations that determine the functioning of digital markets and services. - To have a solid foundation in intellectual property law, particularly in the digital context. - To advise, negotiate, and defend the interests of individuals in the contracting of information technology goods and services, obtaining internet domain names, and using digital identity systems. - To distinguish between the different digital services and differentiate them from other related sectors such as telecommunications and audiovisual services. - To be able to advise on the initiation of activities in digital markets and services.

Learning activities and methodology
TRAINING ACTIVITIES - Theoretical-practical classes. - Search for training materials, such as jurisprudence, resolutions, etc., and work on comprehension and presentation of the same. - Individual student work, presentations, defenses, etc. - Resolution of practical cases. Active participation in the sessions is important. Since the master¿s program is in-person, attendance at the classes is essential for grading. Students must comply with the attendance requirements set out in the Master¿s academic regulations and in AULA GLOBAL in order to be evaluated. TEACHING METHODOLOGIES The methodology followed in this course will be as follows: - Presentations in class by various professors with the support of IT and audiovisual media, where the main concepts of the subject will be developed and bibliographical material will be provided to complement student learning. - Critical reading of texts recommended by the course professor: newspaper articles, reports, resolutions, manuals, and/or academic articles, either for subsequent discussion in class or to expand and consolidate the subject knowledge. - Resolution of practical cases, problems, etc., presented by the professor, either individually or in groups. - Presentation and discussion in class, moderated by the professor, of topics related to the course content, such as case law, legislation, resolutions, etc. - Preparation of individual or group works and reports, involving information gathering by the student. TUTORIALS: Students will have access to tutorials with the person responsible for coordinating the subject. The tutorial aims to organize the teaching and learning process based on interaction between the student and professor with the following purposes: (i) Guide the autonomous and group work of students. (ii) Explore different aspects of the subject. (iii) Guide the academic and integral development of the student. Tutorials will take place at the times and under the conditions determined by the professor on Aula Global.
