Principles of Usability and Data Processing.
Objectives
This subject prepares students to produce informative, instructive and persuasive documents. Technical documents are precise, concise and organised, and are based on the simplification of complex information. The purpose and target audience of each document determine its style, document layout, vocabulary, sentence and paragraph structure, and visuals. In summary, this subject teaches students to analyse writing contexts and produce effective, clear and reader-centred documents.

Learning activities and methodology
Students must bring their own computer to class. LEARNING ACTIVITIES - Acquisition of knowledge through theoretical classes and teaching materials. - Acquisition of skills and abilities through practical assignments. - General or specific tutorials as defined in Aula Global. The assignments to be carried out will address some of the following aspects: - Analysis of real cases. Good and bad decisions in UX communication. - Design and redesign of texts. - Selection of channels and social platforms. - Identification and definition of content types. - Designing templates based on the corporate branding. - Writing for social media: abstracting and indexing. - Translations, adaptations and localisation in UX.
