Objectives

This subject articulates the individual thesis work of the master's degree.

The evaluation will be based on the thesis and its (oral) defense. Both will be public (i.e., they cannot be subject to confidentiality).

The thesis must have a maximum limit of 30 double-column pages, not counting the title, table of contents, and appendices. 

There must be at least 10 days between the date of submission of the thesis and the date of the defense, which will be set by the director of the MISE based on the availability of the teaching staff. It is recommended to submit the thesis before the beginning of the period stipulated by the university's postgraduate center for defenses (https://www.uc3m.es/postgrado/matricula/tfm).

In this subject, students must not use artificial intelligence tools to carry out the work or exercises proposed by the teacher. In the event that the use of AI by the student gives rise to academic fraud by falsifying the results of an exam or work required to accredit academic performance, the provisions of the Regulations of the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid for the partial implementation of Law 3/2022, of 24 February, will apply. of university coexistence.
