-Externalities and the problem of the commons. -Introduction to cost-benefit analysis. -The social cost of greenhouse gases emission. -The Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC). -Catastrophic and non-catastrophic damages. -Mitigation costs. -International protocols and policy designs: market-based policies and command and control policies.
