The central goal of the Integrative Workshop II is to apply the diagnosis concepts incorporated in the Integrative Workshop I, together with the competencies acquired in the courses ¿Gender equality¿, Introduction to the impact evaluation in sustainability¿ and, eventually, ¿Introduction to environmental impact assessment¿ to develop, through students` teamwork, a proposal of a multidimensional policy intervention with gender perspective. The basic steps and main topics of the workshop will be 1.Comparative analysis of the case studies and selection of relevant cases as a natural continuation of Integrative Workshop I. 2.Proposal, discussion, and selection of possible policy interventions for each case study a.Practical application of the Result Chains in the context of the sustainable development. 3.In the context of the selected policy interventions, analysis of techniques of indicators of monitoring and evaluation a.Targeting mechanisms b.Logical framework methodology and gender perspective. 4.Practical applications of the technique of environmental impact assessment conditional to the specified policy interventions a.Relationship between the economic costs and environmental costs of the possible policy interventions b.Suggestion of alternative for prediction, mitigation and improvement. 5.Practical application of the design of strategies of impact evaluation a.Feasibility analysis of experimental evaluations of the social impact of the potential policy interventions. b.Suggestions of alternatives to experimental evaluations based on the available information. 6.Practical design of mechanisms of regulation of activities directly or indirectly related with the case(s) under study a.Stakeholders¿ analysis b.Institutional limitations and implantation challenges.
