The learning activities will consist of 7 theoretical and practical classes that will take place once a week during the First Term, with a 3-hour duration each. These classes will be complemented with 2-hour of personal tutoring a week during the course. During the classes, the students will learn how to use the different computer programs and will practice in the production of cartographies and other graphical representations. Finally, the students will carry out an individual term work.
The methodology followed in the classes will be based on:
- Class presentations with computer and audiovisual media support, in which the main concepts of the course are developed. Course bibliography is provided to complement the students' learning.
- Critical reading of texts recommended by the teacher of the course, either for further discussion in class, or to expand and consolidate the knowledge of the subject.
- Resolution of practical cases, problems, etc. ... raised by the teacher individually or in groups.
- Presentations and discussions in class, under the teacher's moderation of topics related to the content of the subject, and practical case¿s exposition and discussion.
- Preparation of papers and reports individually or in groups.
Tutorials will be carried out through the procedures established by the university.
