Objectives
This section presents the competences associated with the subject: CB1: That students have demonstrated possession and understanding of knowledge in an area of study that starts from the basis of general secondary education, and is usually at a level that, although supported by advanced textbooks, also includes some aspects that involve knowledge from the forefront of their field of study. CE20: Knowing different foreign languages at the appropriate level to enable the understanding, expression and application of specific terminology related to tourism in their professional activity. The learning outcomes are the following: RA1:To have acquired advanced knowledge and demonstrated an understanding of the theoretical and practical aspects and working methodology in the different disciplines of study in the field of tourism with a depth that reaches the cutting edge of knowledge. RA4: To be able to deal with complex situations or situations that require the development of new solutions in the academic, work or professional environment within their field of study; RA5: Knowing how to communicate knowledge, methodologies, ideas, problems and solutions in their field of study to all types of audiences (specialised or not) in a clear and precise manner. Transversal competences - Respect for gender equality and the principle of equal treatment and non-discrimination. - Respect for the principles of universal accessibility and design for all people. - Respect for human rights and fundamental rights. - Treatment of sustainability and climat change.

In this subject we study the grammar, the lexicon, the phonetics etc... for the acquisition and development of the linguistic competence of the same applied to tourism.
