-to collect and summarize all relevant information that is necessary on order to conduct an appraisal of an economic situation.
-to assess causes and consequences of a given economic or industrial policy, either public or private, present or historical. On the base of such assessment, the student will be able to express a reasoned judgement, substantiated by an empirical analysis of the problem.
