Students should gain basic competences, knowledge and skills in sociology of law. Given the conceptual nature of this course, students should know the different approaches and theories of legal sociology and should be capable of assess them in a critical way. The course provides the analytical foundations to study human rights from a socio-legal perspective, and to connect them with other social phenomena. Students should deal with wide range of bibliography, methods and strategies of investigation.
