- Analysis of the basic features that characterize the presence of fundamental rights, as legal institutions considered, in the Legal System. - Reaching the knowledge and understanding of human rights and fundamental rights, both in terms of legislation and jurisprudence, as the most important theories about them. - Distinguish different methodological approaches necessary for the study of different legal and political problems affecting the development of rights

1.- On the concept of fundamental right. 2.- The relationship between Law and Power: its consecuences for fundamental rights. Fundamental rights as limits to power. 3.- Fundamental rights and Legal System: fundamental rights as "sub-legal system". Its relationships with material basic norm. 4.- Limits of fundamental rights. 5.- The interpretation of fundamental rights.

The methodology to be followed in this course will consist primarily in interrelated analysis of the different topics included in the program. Texts ans materials identified for each sesión will be taken as reference. Therefore it is necessary for students to attend meetings with readings completed.
