Objectives
The aim of the course is to provide knowledge about restorative practices, their legal peculiarities in the Spanish legal system and to enable students to face a restorative process and mediation in the criminal field with the due guarantees, taking into account the particularities of this field.

- Restorative justice and classical criminal procedure - The humanization of the criminal process - Fundamental elements of restorative justice - Mediation and criminal liability in the field of adult criminal law - Mediation and criminal liability in the field of juvenile criminal law - Prison mediation - Criminal mediation practices
Learning activities and methodology
TRAINING ACTIVITIES - Synchronous/asynchronous online theory class - Practical classes online synchronous/asynchronous - Synchronous/asynchronous online theoretical/practical classes - Synchronous online tutorials - Individual student work - Synchronous/asynchronous online evaluation tests TEACHING METHODOLOGIES -Presentations in class with computing and audiovisual media support, which develop the main concepts of the subject and provides the bibliography to complement the learning of the students. - Role play. - Viewing and/or analysis of recordings. - Resolution of practical cases, problems, etc. raised by professor individually or in group. - Presentation and discussion in class, under the moderation of professor of topics related to the content of the matter, as well as case studies. - Critical reading of recommended texts of the subject studied:press articles, reports, manuals and/or academic articles, well for its subsequent discussion in class, either to expand and consolidate the knowledge of the subject.
