Requirements (Subjects that are assumed to be known)
A PERFECT COMMAND OF SPOKEN AND WRITTEN SPANISH IS ESSENTIAL. NON SPANISH-SPEAKING STUDENTS MUST HAVE A C1 CERTIFICATE FROM THE CERVANTES INSTITUTE. IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO HAVE PREVIOUSLY STUDIED HUMANISTIC DISCIPLINES, PARTICULARLY THE SUBJECT OF LITERARY MOVEMENTS.
Objectives
The student is expected to be able to: - Know the specificity of scenic languages. - Relate the characteristic features of theatrical creation with other forms of artistic and intellectual expression. - To know the main stages in the history of theater: its formalizations, realizations, relationship with the audience, etc. - To know the main literary-dramatic texts in history. - To analyze a dramatic text. - To analyze a scenic spectacle.
